For a believer, being able to go on the Hajj pilgrimage is a great gift from Allah Almighty. He gives it to whoever and whenever he wants. Some people spend their whole lives wishing they could go on Hajj but can't. Other people, by Allah's will, get to go on Hajj when they are very young. Still, each year, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims use their Hajj packages all-inclusive 2023 to get to Makkah for the holy rituals.

So, if you also want to go to holy rituals and bring your kids with you, here are some things to think about.

Hire Child-Friendly Travel Packages

When you're looking for hajj travel packages that meet your needs and are within your budget, it's important to keep in mind whether or not they're good for kids.

For example, when travelling with children, the most important thing to have is a private place to stay. It gives the family not only privacy, but also peace of mind.

Also, if you are going through the Hajj rituals, there are places where your children can be cared for. So, tell your hajj travel organizers what you need for your trip so they can plan services that include babysitting.

What should you bring?

  • Because Makkah is in a hot area, the sun in the desert can be harsh and cause sunburns. Because of this, you should bring a lot of sunscreen to protect yourself.

  • You should also bring along important preventive medicines for common illnesses like diarrheic, the flu, fever, cough, etc.

  • If it's sunny, everyone in the family should bring an umbrella for shade.

  • One of the most common problems pilgrims face when doing holy rituals in the summer is getting dehydrated. So, to solve this problem, you'll also need to bring a lot of water bottles with you and drink a lot of water while you're travelling.

  • It's a good idea to bring snacks, but you should only bring snacks that can last in hot weather. For example, granola bars, dried fruits, cookies, candies, hummus tortillas that are individually wrapped, and so on.

  • If your child wants to sleep, you must still bring a travel pillow.

Should you bring a baby stroller or not?

If you are going on the hajj journey with a baby, you should bring a baby stroller because you may use it a lot while you are in the kingdom.

For example, it's helpful to have a baby stroller with you when you travel or go shopping in the city, or when you go from your hotel to the mosque every day and back.

A stroller that can lay flat is better because it can also be used to sleep. Still, it's important to know that you can't bring a baby stroller into the Grand Mosque of Makkah during Hajj.

These are some of the most important things to think about when travelling to Hajj with kids.

Imam Baihaqi says in Shabul Iman that Prophet PBUH told Hazrat Jabir RA that Muslims who say the following on the ninth Zil-Hajj or Yaum ul-Arafat after the sun goes down in the plain of Arafat are blessed. These are recited during the Hajj. Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to the Hajj. You can Ramadan Umrah Packages. 100 times for each of the prayers below.

La ilaha ill-Allahu wahdahu la Sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu. Wa huwa 'ala kulli shai'in Qadeer.

On the day of Arafat, pilgrims can say Surah Ikhlas 100 times:

Qul Hu-walaahu Ahad. Allahus-Samad. Lam yalid, wa lam yulad; Walam yakul-la-Huu kufuwan Ahad.

On the day of Arafat, pilgrims can say the powerful Tasbih, which is called Darood Sharif. Recite Darood e Ibrahim 100 times on Yaum ul Arafat:

Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammadiw wa Ala Asli Muhammadin Kamaa Sallaita Ala Ibrahima Wa Ala Aali Ibrahima Innaka Hamidum Majid. Allahuma Baarik Ala Muhammadiw Wa Ala Aali Muhammadin Kamaa Baarakta Ala Ibrahima Wa Ala Aali Ibrahima Innaka Hamidum Majid

(O Allah! bless Muhammad PBUH and his family just like you blessed Ibrahim and his family. You definitely deserve praise and glory. And, on us with them, too.)

In Durre Mansur, Allah Almighty says this about the day of Arafat:

"O my angels, what is the reward for my slave who said my Tasbih, Takbir, and Tahlil, praised me, and said Salat on my Prophet PBUH? O angels! "Believe that I forgave him, and if he had asked for a favour for the people who had gathered at Arafat, I would have given it to him."

The pilgrims say third Kalma 100 times:

Subhan-Allah wal-hamdu-lillahi wa la ilaha ill-Allah wa-Allahu Akbar wa la haula wa la quwwata illa-billahil aliyil azeem

"Subhan Allah Wabe Hamde hi Subhan Allah hil Azim" is another prayer that pilgrims can say on the 9th Zilhajj."

Translation: (Allah is Sanctified, and commendation is due to Allah and Allah is Sanctified and He is All-Glorious) (Allah is Sanctified, and commendation is due to Allah and Allah is Sanctified and He is All-Glorious)

This is the simple tasbih that pilgrims can say:

"I praise Allah Almighty with this praise that is equal to the number of things He made and how He made them, the weight of His Throne, and the ink used to write His words."

Hazrat Abdullah RA said that after the Asr prayer, Allah's Messenger went into Wuquf in Arafat, raised his hands, and said the following prayer over and over:

(Allah is the greatest, and all praise should be given to him alone. Allah is the best, and all praise should go to him alone. Allah is the best, and all praise should go to him alone. Allah is the only one who deserves to be revered. He SWT is unique and has no one else like him. All praise should go to Him, SWT, because He is the protector. O Allah! Keep me steadfast on Your Guidance, wash me clean with piety, and forgive me in this world and the next.

Prophet PBUH said, "Aside from Arafat, there was no other day when Satan was so embarrassed and angry as the day of the battle of Badar. This is because on this day, he sees Allah's mercy and blessings pouring down in torrents on His slaves and some of their worst sins being forgiven.

If a pilgrim leaves the Arafat before sunset on the day of Arafat, he or she must do the Dam. Dam is also due if he does something that is against the rules while in the holy state of Ihram.

If a pilgrim has a sexual act after entering the holy state of Ihram but before Wuquf in Arafat, Hajj is not valid. In that case, he will have to do three things. These are the three things:

  • To pay the fine, he should have to kill a goat.

  • In his current state of Ihram, he should finish the rest of the Hajj rituals and ceremonies while staying away from everything that is forbidden.

  • The third thing is that he must re-enter the state of Ihram and do Hajj again the following year to make up for the Hajj that was not valid. Even though he is doing the Nafl Hajj, this is still true.

  • Tradition says that if the day of Arafat falls on Friday, all the pilgrims' sins will be forgiven. In the same way, the Hajj that takes place on Friday is seventy times more holy.

  • Since Arafat is not a city, it does not have a Friday prayer. Even on Friday, a pilgrim should only pray at the Dhuhr time.

  • In Mina, you are allowed to pray on Friday, but not in Arafat.

  • On Eid ul Adha, the pilgrims don't have to say Salah.

It is important to remember that a pilgrim should not pray the Maghrib prayer or spend the night in Arafat. After sunset, he should go to Muzdalifah. On his way, he should say Talbiyah, Takbir, Salah, and other prayers a lot and stay busy saying prayers.
