Hajj travel with Children

For a believer, being able to go on the Hajj pilgrimage is a great gift from Allah Almighty. He gives it to whoever and whenever he wants. Some people spend their whole lives wishing they could go on Hajj but can't. Other people, by Allah's will, get to go on Hajj when they are very young. Still, each year, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims use their Hajj packages all-inclusive 2023 to get to Makkah for the holy rituals.

So, if you also want to go to holy rituals and bring your kids with you, here are some things to think about.

Hire Child-Friendly Travel Packages

When you're looking for hajj travel packages that meet your needs and are within your budget, it's important to keep in mind whether or not they're good for kids.

For example, when travelling with children, the most important thing to have is a private place to stay. It gives the family not only privacy, but also peace of mind.

Also, if you are going through the Hajj rituals, there are places where your children can be cared for. So, tell your hajj travel organizers what you need for your trip so they can plan services that include babysitting.

What should you bring?

  • Because Makkah is in a hot area, the sun in the desert can be harsh and cause sunburns. Because of this, you should bring a lot of sunscreen to protect yourself.

  • You should also bring along important preventive medicines for common illnesses like diarrheic, the flu, fever, cough, etc.

  • If it's sunny, everyone in the family should bring an umbrella for shade.

  • One of the most common problems pilgrims face when doing holy rituals in the summer is getting dehydrated. So, to solve this problem, you'll also need to bring a lot of water bottles with you and drink a lot of water while you're travelling.

  • It's a good idea to bring snacks, but you should only bring snacks that can last in hot weather. For example, granola bars, dried fruits, cookies, candies, hummus tortillas that are individually wrapped, and so on.

  • If your child wants to sleep, you must still bring a travel pillow.

Should you bring a baby stroller or not?

If you are going on the hajj journey with a baby, you should bring a baby stroller because you may use it a lot while you are in the kingdom.

For example, it's helpful to have a baby stroller with you when you travel or go shopping in the city, or when you go from your hotel to the mosque every day and back.

A stroller that can lay flat is better because it can also be used to sleep. Still, it's important to know that you can't bring a baby stroller into the Grand Mosque of Makkah during Hajj.

These are some of the most important things to think about when travelling to Hajj with kids.
